Bracelets, earrings, clasps, dental scrap (gold or silver), rings, charms, coins, pins, watches, bands, wire (gold or platinum), necklaces, nuggets, ingots, chains, pendants and pretty much anything else. All karats are accepted: 8K, 9K, 10K, 12K, 14K, 16K, 18K, 22K, and 24K.

How to Identify your items

Gold: Look for markings on your jewelry in karats, such as: 8K, 9K, 10K, 12K, 14K, 16K, 18K, 22K, and 24K. Sometimes gold can be marked as .585 for 14K and .750 for 18K.

Platinum: Look for markings .950 or PLAT.                       

Silver: Look for markings STERLING, .925 or Silver.

Diamonds:  This is a little tricky.  Diamonds are the hardest mineral on earth.  We have machines that will test the hardness of a diamond and tell if it is real.  The clearer and whiter a diamond the more expensive it is.

How we Test your Gold, Silver and Platinum

We use the scratch test on a specialized stone with specialized acid.  The scratch test is very accurate and fast.  It will not damage gold jewelry.  All tests are done in front of the customer by our knowledgeable staff.

We also weigh all jewelry with State Certified Scales.
